THE PÄIVÄLEHTI MUSEUM
The Päivälehti Museum presents the history of media, modern-day media and the future of media as well as the freedom of speech in Finland and in other countries. Our aim is to promote the ability to interpret the media and particularly, to encourage children and adolescents to read. The entrance to the museum and all its activities are free and open to the public.
We re-opened after closure on Feb 1st, 2021, with a limited number of visitors, due to Covid-19. A maximum number of 10 persons are allowed to visit the museum simultaneously.
Our priority is creating a safe environment. Face masks are required for all staff and visitors, except for children under 12. Please follow the current official guidelines during your museum visit.
